  • Organized visits to historical sites like Hampi, Badami, Aihole, Pattadakal, and Bidar Fort, enhancing students' understanding of history and archaeology.
  • Epigraphy projects involving the study of old inscriptions found in North Karnataka, especially in temples and ancient settlements.
  • Documentation of local heritage, temple art, and folk traditions.

2. Seminars, Talks, and Workshops:

  • Student-led seminars and group discussions on topics like democracy, constitutional values, regional history, and current affairs.
  • Expert talks from historians, political scientists, economists, and literary figures.
  • Participation in university-level conferences and paper presentations.

3. Theatre & Performing Arts:

  • Organizing and participating in drama and street plays based on social, historical, and literary themes.
  • Encouragement for folk theatre forms like Bayalata, and Janapada Geethegalu (folk songs).
  • Annual interclass cultural fest showcasing student talents.

4. Language, Literature & Creativity:

  • Literary clubs hosting poetry, essay, short story, and debate competitions in both Kannada and English.
  • Book review sessions and reading circles.
  • Study of regional writers, poets, and freedom fighters from Karnataka.
