Loyola Degree College, Manvi, hosted JESCOL–1 (Jesuit Collaboration and Leadership Program) on September 19–20, 2025. Faculty and staff from Xavier’s School, Loyola School, Loyola Kapipaladi School, Loyola PU College, and Loyola Degree College came together to explore the Jesuit legacy of education, governance, and collaboration. The sessions were led by Fr. Brian Pereira SJ, Fr. Antony Arul, and Mr. Prashanth K, covering themes such as Teaching with Purpose, The Life of St. Ignatius, Characteristics of Jesuit Education, Ignatian Spiritual Heritage, Leadership and Governance in the Society of Jesus, and Jesuit–Lay Collaboration. The two-day program concluded with an Examen and Gathering of the Fruits, leaving participants enriched with the Ignatian spirit of reflection, service, and collaboration. JESCOL–1 was a meaningful initiative that strengthened the Ignatian identity of Loyola institutions and inspired educators in their mission of forming “persons for others.”
