Foundations of Fitness: First Aid, Habits, and Healthy Living Loyola College, Manvi organized a special awareness session titled “Foundations of Fitness: First Aid, Habits, and Healthy Living” on 7th November 2025 for degree students. The session was conducted by Dr. Sushmitha Dani, Assistant Professor at KPSVS Ayurvedic Medical College, Manvi, and Consultant at Pavan Clinic, Manvi. Dr. Sushmitha emphasized the significance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle through healthy habits, regular physical activity, nutritious food, and mental well-being. She also highlighted the role of preventive healthcare in leading a healthy life. A key highlight of the session was the demonstration of the CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) procedure, during which Dr. Sushmitha explained its importance in saving lives during cardiac emergencies. Students and staff from the B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., and BCA departments actively participated in the session. The programme was highly informative and inspiring, motivating participants to adopt healthier habits and be better prepared to respond to medical emergencies.
