Photo Day Celebration at Loyola College, Manvi Loyola College, Manvi successfully organized an innovative student-centric programme titled “Photo Day”, a Student Activity–cum–Creative and Promotional Programme, conducted from 15 November to 25 November. The event was coordinated by Mr. Joel, Mr. Prashanth, Ms. Sandhya, and Ms. Sushma, with the objective of fostering creativity, self-expression, emotional well-being, and institutional pride among students. The celebration, held over a period of ten days from 15 November to 25 November, provided students with a vibrant platform to explore photography, videography, storytelling, and digital editing beyond the classroom. Students actively participated in a variety of creative activities including Scar Face / Creative Self-Acceptance Activity, campus reel making, departmental promotional video creation, student and staff interviews, “Why I Love Loyola” photo submissions, and vlogs highlighting services rendered in the college. A special highlight of the programme was the Photo Day Finale, organized at the conclusion of the celebration period on 25 November, where students showcased their creativity by designing handmade photo frames and dressing up in retro-themed costumes inspired by old heroes and heroines. The enthusiasm, originality, and artistic expression displayed by the students added colour and vibrancy to the event. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from all classes throughout the period from 15 November to 25 November, showcasing exceptional creativity, teamwork, communication skills, and digital competence. The Photo Day Celebration emerged as a meaningful initiative that strengthened students’ sense of belonging and institutional pride, aligning with Loyola College’s commitment to holistic and experiential learning.
