Industrial Visit to NSL Sugars (Tungabhadra), Desanur As part of the Degree VI Semester Internship Programme, 53 students from the Departments of Commerce and Science undertook an industrial visit to NSL Sugars (Tungabhadra), Desanur, Karnataka, on 24 January 2026, accompanied by faculty members. The visit provided students of B.Com and B.Sc with valuable practical exposure to the sugar industry, enabling them to understand the production process, products, operational activities, and overall turnover of the organization. This industrial interaction helped students relate classroom concepts with real-world industrial practices. The students were accompanied by Mr. Vitthal Gavade, Mr. Gundappa, Mr. Prashanth, Ms. Pratibha Chaitra, Ms. Sushma, and Ms. Sandhya, who guided and supported the students throughout the visit. Overall, the industrial visit was highly informative and enriching, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
