  • Vaibhava: Odyssey of Unity – Day 1

    The first day of “Vaibhava: Odyssey of Unity”, the grand cultural fest of Loyola College, Manvi, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation on 9th April 2026. The fest began with a grand inaugural ceremony graced by Norman Leslie Doss as the chief guest. In his inspiring address, he encouraged students to express their talents confidently and highlighted the importance of culture, creativity, and unity in student life. The inauguration created a festive atmosphere across the campus and marked the energetic beginning of the three-day celebration. After the inauguration, several competitions were conducted simultaneously at different venues of the college. At the Arrupe Auditorium, students actively participated in events such as Mono Act, Cinematic Dance, Mirror Dance, Improv Competition, and Best Personality, displaying remarkable talent, confidence, and stage presence. In the Function Hall, competitions like Skit, Storytelling, Debate, and Quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation and appreciation from the audience. Classroom events including Creative Writing, Drawing, 20 Questions, Face Painting, Decode the Code, Mehandi, Pic & Speak, Best Out of Waste, Minute to Win It, and Cooking Without Fire added excitement and creativity to the celebrations. Students from all six teams — Jala, Vayu, Agni, Manas, Pruthvi, and Akasha — participated with great energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day. The entire campus was filled with cheers, excitement, and cultural spirit, making the first day of Vaibhava 2026 a memorable and successful beginning to the fest.
