The Department of Botany, in association with the Eco-Club of Loyola College, Manvi, organized a practical activity on Plant Propagation for the third- and fifth-semester students from 11:50 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The activity focused on introducing students to various techniques of plant propagation and helping them understand how new plants can be produced from a single plant specimen. The practical session provided students with valuable hands-on experience and highlighted the importance of plant propagation in increasing plant diversity and promoting environmental sustainability. The students participated actively and enthusiastically throughout the session. The activity enabled them to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and develop a deeper appreciation for plant cultivation and conservation. It was a meaningful experiential learning initiative that encouraged students to contribute towards creating a greener and more sustainable environment.
