SJCCC conducted a Student Council Leadership Training through an Immersion Programme at Loyola College, Manvi on 11th and 12th September 2026. The programme was designed to strengthen the leadership abilities of Student Council members through experiential learning, reflection, and meaningful engagement with the community. A total of 46 students from Loyola College, Manvi participated in the two-day programme. The training brought together members of the Student Council, along with selected representatives from the Cultural Forum and Business Team, providing them with opportunities to participate in interactive sessions, share leadership experiences, and reflect on the responsibilities associated with student leadership. The immersion experience enabled students to move beyond theoretical understanding and engage with real-life situations that encouraged reflection, empathy, teamwork, social concern, and responsible leadership. Through direct engagement and observation, the participants gained a deeper understanding of the community and reflected on how student leadership can become a meaningful means of service and positive social transformation. Mr. Vitthal Gavade and Ms. Preethi E were also present during the training sessions and supported the students throughout the programme. Their presence contributed to the guidance and encouragement provided to the participating students. The Manvi Immersion Programme proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience, contributing to the personal growth and leadership formation of the students. It inspired the participants to approach leadership with greater awareness, responsibility, empathy, and a spirit of service.
